The Cleveland, OH office seeks a civil engineering student to join our growing office of structural, roadway, highway, rail, and intermodal designers and construction inspectors as a co-op. TranSystems’ Cleveland office serves a variety of transportation clients, including railroads, state DOTs, tollway authorities, counties, municipalities, and developers.

 

Requirements:

• Applicants must be a student seeking a BS degree in civil engineering, preferably with a study emphasis on structural or transportation engineering.

• Candidates must possess strong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment on multi-disciplinary projects.

 

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of design plans using Microstation, Geopak, MS Office, and other design software; preparation of project specifications and reports;

• Field inspection of various structures or construction activities;

• Project coordination with other in-house engineering and technical staff, as applicable.
